John 14:16 says that God will send us a counselor to help us and give us support and direction in our times of need. This counselor is the Holy Spirit. He is always with us but we need to stop and listen to His direction. Perhaps there is too much noise and too many distractions in our lives for us to hear Him. We need to make some quite time. This is what a retreat weekend is all about. Escape for a lovely spring weekend and spend some quiet time listening at the Loyola Retreat House.
