Nov 26, 2003Now it is time to signup for the Christmas Gift Program. This drive is different. We are asking you to donate gifts for the families who are in need of our help. The Saint Vincent DePaul Society, with the Council providing the turkey and gift certificate for perishable items, provides the food.
We ask that you donate one toy per child, one or two small gifts per adult, or one large gift for a household. Gift should not be wrapped to ensure they are suitable for the intended recipients. On Friday, December 19th the food will be moved from the SVDP to Providence Hall. We will be assembling the food and gifts on Saturday, December 20th. This is a very labor-intensive job and many hands are needed to help make the task easier. Delivery of the baskets will take place on Sunday, December 21st starting a 10:00 AM. If you can spare a couple of hours from your busy Christmas schedule to move the food, assemble the baskets or make the deliveries please contact Greg at the above phone or e-mail address.
