Help needed for Family Fun Festival (Sep 10) & Parish Picnic (Sep 11)

Matt West will be operating a snack booth at the Fairfax City Family Fun Fest on Saturday Sep 10. This annual affair runs from 3 PM til 10 PM at Van Dyke Park. Matt will need help to staff this Council Fund Raiser. Please give him a call at 703 359 4652 if you can help.
Parish Picnic
The parish picnic is scheduled for Sunday Sept. 11th starting at Noon. The Church is the host for this annual event our Council will do all the buying of Picnic food and drinks. We also have been responsible for setting up, cooking the food and cleaning up. A lot of help is going to be needed to make this a success as it has been done in the past. A sign up sheet for volunteers has been posted in Providence Hall or you can call Tim Tilson at 703 273 9436 his Email is hmslydia@email.msn.com , Tim is chairing this event. We'll need help to set up the grounds behind Providence Hall, cook the 1000 hamburgers and 900 hot dogs, will need servers in the food line, need people to man the beverage stand, the Beer trailer and most of all to clean up after the event. It takes a lot of volunteers to make this event a success.
