Welcome to the single busiest month of the Columbiettes’ year! On Monday, October 7, 2013 the Columbiettes will be conducting their annual Atlantic City trip, where $50 secures the bus ride, a free buffet meal coupon and $15 in slot money from the Tropicana Casino. Another event is the Barrio Fiesta Fundraiser Dinner on October 12, 2013 at 6:00 PM. Thelma Billy chairs this event in the St. Leo’s Parish Activity Center (School Gym). It is a charitable event to help the homeless: a $25 donation per person is appreciated. There will be dinner and live music! RSVP to Thelma Billy at 703-323-6470.
All Knights and their Ladies are also invited to the Wine and Cheese Social at 7 PM October 15, 2013. This is a free social event in Providence Hall. Thank you to Ann Todd and Flo Hogan for chairing this event.
The annual Craft Fair is from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday October 20, 2013 in the Parish Activity Center (school gym). Linda Baringhaus is the chair; please contact her for vendor information or questions at (703) 385-9455.
We will have our next business meeting on Monday, October 21, 2013. I hope to see everyone there as we plan our holiday season.
