Columbiettes Bake Sale: After Masses -- Memorial Day Weekend
May 28, 2007The Columbiettes are sponsoring their annual bake sale after all of the Masses on Memorial Day weekend to support the ongoing reconstruction efforts at Our Lady of the Gulf Church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, which was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
Please consider donating some wonderful home baked goodies for St. Leo’s parishioners to enjoy. Donations can be dropped off at the school gym on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 9 AM-6 PM or at the CCD entrance before all Masses. We will also have access to the kitchen in the Parish Activity Center for those of you who could contribute some time to help bake. If you are able to donate any baked goods, help in the kitchen, or know of student looking for service hours, please contact Wendy Kehoe at steve.wendykehoe@verizon.net.
Also, Fr. Tracey, the pastor of Our Lady of the Gulf was generous enough to send Wendy a DVD documenting the reconstruction. If anyone has a TV and DVD player they would be willing to let the Columbiettes use during the Bake Sale, please let Wendy know. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
